The girls enjoy a sword fight during our latest parent's night out, held on Friday April 18, 2008. The kids enjoyed pizza, games, and watched "Night at the Museum" while moms and dads enjoyed an evening out.

The Alpha Phi girls of UC Irvine and their moms recently attended a Training for Life® Seminar given by Master Amsler. Almost 30 women spent the afternoon learning how to defend themselves against attacks, using simple everyday movements like "knocking" and pinching. On 2/29/08 these students learned several ways to "get away from a bad guy". They learned how to use everyday things as obstacles and tools, like park benches, bikes, and chairs, and how to band together with other children to avoid abduction.

In today's world, teens need every tool they can get to help keep them safe and secure! On Saturday, 2/23/08 several of our teens took a personal safety course called TEENSAFE® and learned some very simple and very cool moves to use when they're out there on their own. Way to go guys and girls!!

Master Amsler, Miss Tiffany, and Miss Brittany attended the Kukkiwon Poomsae Certification Seminar in Los Angeles on July 28th-29th. They enjoyed training among other black belts and enhancing their forms for poomsae competition.
