Tiffany Amsler - 4th Dan

As a current instructor at Stephen J. Amsler's Martial Arts & Fitness Center, I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach both children and adults an exciting style of Martial Arts; Taekwondo. It has been such a wonderful adventure to watch my students progress and improve through each belt level and I enjoy passing on important Taekwondo values such as respect, self-discipline, and integrity. Not only do I have the opportunity to teach my students self-defense skills, but I also am a part of an amazing fitness team who teaches Cardio Kickboxing at our Taekwondo Fitness Center. I have been training since I was a Little Ninja at 3½ years old, and earned my 4th Degree Black Belt in June 2008. In June 2009, I graduated with Cum Laude Honors from the University of California, Irvine. I received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Education and I am currently attending UC Irvine’s Teaching Credential Program to pursue a career in Elementary Education.

Brittany Amsler – 3rd Dan

While my peers serve coffee and bag groceries, I get the awesome opportunity to teach children and adults Tae Kwon Do. This martial art has been a huge part of my life ever since a young age. As a 3rd degree black belt, I understand the importance of not only mastering the curriculum's movements, but also using the Tae Kwon Do mind set in daily life. I hope to pass on the wisdom I've gained to my students in a fun, encouraging way so that they can be a martial artist in both body and mind.

I currently attend Concordia University, Irvine and my major (at the moment) is Creative Writing. I hope to pursue a career in writing stories for children.

Kim Taylor - 3rd Dan

When I first signed up for classes at Stephen J. Amsler's Martial Arts Center, I felt a part of a Taekwondo Family which would support me as I trained for my Black Belt! Now, I have been training for more than 10 years and achieved my 3rd Degree Black Belt in June 2006. Each week I have the opportunity to work with other qualified instructors to teach our students the importance in achieving their goals. I try to instill in them the values of commitment and dedication, so that in the future, they will be able to achieve their desired goals. Through the instruction of Master Amsler, I have improved tremendously in my technique and flexibility as well as leadership skills. I graduated from Orange Coast College in 1989 with a Assosiates Degree in Ultra-Sound and presently enjoy working along side the dedicated individuals at Stephen J. Amsler's Martial Art Center.

Andrew Minegar - 2nd Dan

I received my 2nd Degree Black Belt in June 2006 and have been training under Master Amsler for nearly 5 years. Attending the University of California, Irvine, I am majoring in both English and Economics in preparation for law school. In order to get a head start in my training for the legal field, I am currently working at a law office in Tustin. When I am not studying, attending class, or working, I am assisting at the Taekwondo studio, playing ultimate frisbee, basketball, or teaching piano. Taekwondo has had a lasting impact on my life not only because of the enduring principles which are taught, such as respect and integrity, but also because of its practical application. Stephen J. Amsler's Martial Arts Center is not only an invaluable training center to learn self-defense, but it is also a friendly and encouraging place where physical fitness is emphasized.
